The Carp Connection Cup 2009 will take place on the
weekend of Friday 24th to Sunday 26th July, to be
fished over two nights at the Bridge Inn Lakes,
Lenwade, Norfolk.
There are two cups on offer this year, one for the
biggest carp caught and the other being for the most
carp caught.
In addition to fishing entrance fees, we will also
be raising money by throwing a big party on the
Saturday night, with live music from a superb local
band, a Burger Bar and a Raffle with prizes donated by
forum members, tackle shops and the trade. Tickets
to this event will be available through the site
soon.
Rules
Due to the nature of the venue, we have a strict two rod
rule in place for all entrants. This is to allow us
to maximise the fishing space available, and fit as
many people on the lakes as possible.
We ask that anglers respect each others fishing and
fish amicably, please remember though, this is a
social event!
All competitors must have a decent unhooking mat,
beanie type mats are not deemed acceptable. There
are no bait bans, but shop brought prepared
particles are preferred. Bait Boats are not to be
used at the Carp Connection Cup. All other rules are the
Lakes normal rulings.
All captures are to be reported to our marshals and competitors must fill out their capture
forms.
All anglers must reel in for the Saturday
night party.
Swim Draw
The Draw for swims will take place at 9am on the
Friday afternoon.
Anyone who turns up after the draw is made is
welcome to fill any other swims available. For more

Saturday Party & Raffle
On the Saturday night there will be a Party
for all competitors and guests (guest tickets will
be available through this site soon). Our band for the
Saturday night will be
The Floating Greyhounds, one of the most highly
rated rock/covers bands in the area, with support
from
Infinity Disco. After the first
half of the bands set, the
raffle will be drawn. Full details are on the

Finish & Presentations
The event is scheduled to finish at 12pm midday on Sunday
26th July.
Entrance Donation
The cost of the weekends fishing, including
entrance to the Saturday Night Party is just £55.00.
Sponsorship Packages
All anglers attending the event will receive a
“Welcome Pack”. These packs will contain details of
the weekend’s activities, and some free gifts.
We are able to offer leaflet space in these packs in
return for products to either place in the pack or
to place in the Saturday Raffle.

Carp Connection Cup - how much have we raised?
The Carp Connection Cup 2008
took place on the
weekend of Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd August at
Snetterton Pits, Norfolk, we are proud to have raised a massive
£4,551.65 for the East Anglian
Children's Hospices, meaning that in total we
have raised £8,515.76 for local charities through our
Carp Connection Cup events.
The Carp Connection Cup 2006 held at Kingfisher
Lake, thetford raised £3,126.11 for
the East Anglian Children's Hospices.
The first Carp Connection Cup held in 2005 at
Cobbleacre Lakes, Heavingham raised £838 for EACH
and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
